For me, the hope that FALL offers is the only thing that makes the summer here in Texas bearable.  The promise of cooler weather, the autumnal colors, spicy smells, decadent tastes, and comforting textures speak to the very core of who I am and assure me that there is something beautiful, deep, and rich waiting on the other side.
